Get to know 20 of Coastal Virginia’s best and brightest millennials listed below. Though they’re distinctive in their industries, backgrounds, accomplishments and goals, as a whole they offer an insight into what the future holds for Coastal Virginia—and based on their answers, we have a lot to look forward to.
To choose our 2018 Millennials on the Move, CoVa BIZ held an online nomination period where colleagues and coworkers nominated a millennial (or millennials were invited to nominate themselves). Honorees were chosen by a panel of local business professionals: Angela Blue, Editor-in-Chief of CoVa BIZ; Ryan Downey, Director of Media & Community Relations for Hampton CVB; Crystal Harper, Meteorologist for 13News Now; Tricia Hudson, President & Owner of Strategic Solutions by Tricia, LLC; and April Woodard, co-host of WTKR’s “Coast Live.” Focus was given on identifying individuals who exemplify success in their professions while also working within the community to advance the region as a whole.
