The Public Relations Society of America’s Hampton Roads Chapter (PRSAHR) is seeking the best public relations programs and tactics in the Hampton Roads region for the 2018 Pinnacle Awards. Entries for the awards may be submitted online by Friday, Sept. 14. Submission fee per entry is $50 for members, $80 for nonmembers and free for college students. A $25 late fee will be added after Friday, Sept. 7.
The competition includes two main areas—public relations programs and public relations tactics—each consisting of various award categories. New this year—college students can enter any awards category free of charge. Additionally, three individual awards honor members of PRSAHR for their professional achievements in public relations: Rising Star, Member of the Year and the P. Lee Starkey Pinnacle in Public Relations Award.
Awards will be presented at the Pinnacle luncheon, Nov. 14, at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.
