Mariners’ Museum Receives Education Grant

Wells Fargo Foundation check for Mariners' Museum

The Mariners’ Museum and Park has been awarded an $8,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation to support the Museum’s “Passport to Education” program. This initiative will provide access and expand programming to disadvantaged youth in Title I schools throughout the Peninsula.

Funding will directly support admission costs, transportation and Standards of Learning-based educational enrichment programs in history, STEM and language arts.

The Wells Fargo Foundation focuses on three pressing issues that affect underserved communities: housing affordability, financial health and small business growth and vitality.
